The AKLU is excited to present a new competition for the 2025-2026 season - the Steve Cotter Spirit of Sport Award. Named in memory of Steve Cotter, a pioneer of kettlebell sport and training in the United States, the award challenges lifters to demonstrate their skill and discipline across a variety of lifts. This award celebrates the athlete who pushes their limits, inspires others, and embodies the true spirit of kettlebell sport. All proceeds from this annual competition will go towards the AKLU lifter fund to help us support the growth of kettlebell sport in the USA.

This competition will run from August 25th, 2025 - July 31st, 2026
